Leading the way to Lido Restaurant

So it was Sunday and we don’t want to cook our food.

My sister and I don’t know where to go after Sunday mass and we were so famished!  We thought of trying out Lido Restaurant and find out what the heck is a pugod-roasted pork asado.

We picked up our nephews and brother-in-law and headed out to Lido’s branch in Taytay.

We got there at 11 AM and there was only a few people there yet.

Pugod-roasted pork asado has a funny taste... it's got a, well, woody taste to it that paints a picture in my head of a life in a far-flung barrio

I'm not particularly a fan of tofus but this one's good: poached tofu in sauce at around 100 bucks

When my nephew smelled this, he said, “Tita, popcorn!” This is undoubtedly the best buttered chicken I’ve ever had
